ππ Book Week Activities ππ Last week we had visits from some special guests for Book Week! Our first visitor was the Children's Author and Illustrator, David Legge! David demonstrated his process of illustrating -- starting from his daydreaming and doodling when bored to building on concepts of the bizarre and out of the ordinary. Our students learned all about the process of writing, illustrating and publishing picture books and even contributed to some improvised sketching. On Thursday we had visitors from Perform Education! Our students got to experience the live interactive adventure musical known as TREASURE HUNT. Our students were sent on a treasure hunt experience, exploring themes of sustainability and our relationship with the natural environment, as well as celebrating how books and reading create understanding and bring people of different backgrounds together. Check out some pictures below!

π¬ STEM Club! π€ This week our students got hands on with Ozobots and the Sphero RVR+, exploring what it really takes to make a robot follow your commands. They discovered that successful robotics isnβt just about cool tech, itβs about clear, logical steps, algorithms, and plenty of patience! Our Yr 3-6 students worked through a series of challenge cards, testing their problem solving skills and perseverance whilst learning how to break big tasks into simple, achievable steps.
