πββοΈ Diocesan Cross Country π Last week, our Cross Country team represented our school at the Diocesan Cross Country Carnival, held at Sydney Motorsport Park. Each student showed great determination as they took on the 2km or 3km course. Well done to all our runners for their effort, endurance and commitment on the day. Congratulations to Bella and Michael from Year 4 who have qualified for the NSWCCCCPS Cross Country event on Wednesday, 11 June at the Sydney Equestrian Centre. Thank you to Mrs. Mammoliti, Mrs. Babela, Mrs. Vivaldo and Mr. Escandor for their support and contributions on the day!

π£ Kindy Hatch n Grow π₯ On Friday, we said farewell to our Ducklings from the Hatch n Grow program! Over the past two weeks, our Kindy students have been seeing first-hand the hatching of several duck eggs, and have observed their growth over the days that followed. It has been an insightful (and adorable) learning opportunity for our students ππ€

Yr 4 Ranger Jamie Excursion! This Tuesday, our Year 4 Team travelled to Sydney to explore The Rocks; walking the footsteps and learning the tales of real colonial settlers from Australiaβs past. A fantastic day of hands-on learning and activities!

β½οΈ Stage 3 Girls Soccer Gala Day β½οΈ This Tuesday, our Stage 3 Girls participated in the Soccer Gala Day. Our students played six games in total and finished fourth in their pool, what an achievement! A big thank you to Mrs. Micallef and Mr. Osbourne for their time and dedication in training the team.

π Honey Bee Program π Over the past two weeks, our Year 5 students have been exploring contemporary Indigenous dance movements with the Honey Bee program. They have been guided by Aboriginal artists from the Jannawi Dance Clan to create a dance that represents the story of the Honey Bee's diet, habitat and life cycle. It's been an enriching experience for our Year 5 students and teachers, immersing themselves in Aboriginal culture and learning about the important role of music, props and language in storytelling.

ππ¦ΈββοΈ Princesses and Superheroes for Monique π¦ΈββοΈπ On Tuesday, our school was filled with superheroes, princesses, and everyday champions as students and staff dressed up and donated to support our brave Year 3 student, Monique, who is currently battling leukemia. In addition to their gold coin donations, our students spent time creating beautiful letters, drawings, and heartfelt notes to send love, encouragement, and smiles to Monique. ππ¨ Thank you to our incredible school community for coming together with such kindness and courage. We are all behind you, Monique!
